Microsoft flight simulator force feedback

It just didn't take off like on the Sim Racing side, where it's pretty much standard now. Shame though, I used to love the FF of the rumbling sensation after touchdown. Still have an old FF joystick gathering dust. Force Feedback has worked fine for me from the first plug in to my pc. I use no drivers aside of the default windows ones used when i plug it in. But personally i have never needed them. Perhaps try re-installing your USB drivers and then plug in your stick.

Tried reinstalling the drivers with no luck. It's weird, it worked perfectly with FSX. I thought this game was built on the same engine too. After searching around on other forums it seems force feedback just isn't a thing in this game. That's a damn shame, I bought this stick just for this game. It's a lot harder to control the planes without it too. Trimming is way easier with FF.. I have a Microsoft Force Feedback 2 Joystick.

And it does not seem to work on Flight Simulator Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. You can set the controls even when the controller is marked with a question mark. It is just complicated. Watch the video the fella above you linked. It is not that hard.

But force feedback is missing. Anyone knows how to enable it? I am just getting the Question mark at the joy stick side. Search the camera views and set the hat switches to what you need, like look left etc. I have one button set to toggle external and cockpit views. If you search the camera section you will find what to bind to. Been fiddling with this most of the day, just cant get it right got the buttons in the correct mapping order etc… but sensitivity is all to pot making dam near impossible to fly.

Never had problems like this before. If you find the nose keeps pointing down then you need to set your trim using numpad 7 and 1. Never had to do it with FSX.

All part of the learning curve. I suggest you do the tutorial in the Cessna. Does the Sidewinder work in the Windows control panel. Type joy. It will not work until you do this. Learn more.
