I'm not following this logic. First of all, this is a Visio drawing. File name extension VSDX. It is not a PDF drawing. I think most people know by now what PDF files are used for. It's intermediary, portable file format for sharing documents, that does not require any additional expensive software to be installed or any free light versions of the software or so called players or viewers for each proprietary file format.
All that's required is a PDF viewer. This was my intent also, to get a PDF file of my Visio drawing so I can share it with other people, without having to explain to them step by step over the phone how to install a free viewer for Visio drawings.
But the idea backfired so I am using plain image formats like PNG to share my drawings now. I'm not sure what you meant by "this" drawing. The pictures I posted were for illustration purpose only. I might create a new test drawing so I can share it here, for testing purposes. My point is, you could not have tested my drawing, I never shared it.
Those were just illustrations to showcase the problem. Alright, I just found the problem! It's a scaling problem alright, but I didn't expect it to be this kind of scaling problem. The thing is I am running Visio on a new 13 inch ultrabook. This reminds me why I absolutely hate high DPI displays. Over half the Windows programs don't work properly with this type of displays. Including the latest and greatest Microsoft Visio Professional! Unfortunately I could not find any sub 15 inch laptop that does not use display scaling.
But I can barely read the text off the screen. Microsoft, can you please fix this? Have you not done any testing? I'm surprised you missed this before releasing Visio Professional.
